The Best Practices and Standards Subcommittee was initiated to capture and compile a collection of best practices used in Space Mission Operations and to make them available to the general Space Operations community via the SOSTC website and as AIAA Guidelines and, as appropriate, as AIAA Standards. The Subcommittee offers the opportunity for experienced people to help their fellow Mission Operations team members by capturing lessons learned and sharing them with the operations community. Within the Subcommittee, the Best Practices Working Group focuses on the collection and dissemination of best practices for Space Mission Operations.
